JUDr. Jakub Fröhlich

SPECIALISATION

JUDr. Jakub Fröhlich has vast experience mainly of the areas of commercial law (including mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructuring), energy law, civil law, construction law, telecommunications and broadcasting law, as well as intellectual property law (copyright law, including collective rights management, trademarks, patents and utility models, personality protection, domain law and unfair competition law) and also of engagement in projects of due diligence audits of Czech and foreign companies. He has also dealt with a lot of cases of insolvency law, by representing creditors and cooperating with insolvency trustees. He has frequent experience of litigation, too (both as an attorney and as an arbitrator) before ordinary courts, arbitration courts and administrative courts.

He had been working for the law firm Advokátní kancelář Kříž a partneři s.r.o. for fourteen years, seven years of which as its shareholder. Before that, he had been working for the law firm of Prof. JUDr. Aleš Gerloch, CSc. for three years.

JUDr. Katarína Fröhlichová specializes in commercial law and corporations law and law of obligations, energy law, civil law, personal data protection, personality protection and labour law, both according to Czech and Slovak legislation. Mgr. Petr Kučera

Mgr. Petr Kučera has experience mainly in criminal law and criminal proceedings. He also specializes in civil and administrative disputes, i.e. in representing clients before courts and administrative authorities, especially in the areas of civil liability law (compensation for breach of contractual or statutory obligations), corporate law and administrative law.

Mgr. Jan Říha

SPECIALISATION

Mgr. Jan Říha has experience in industrial property law and representing clients before administrative and civil courts, including specialized industrial property chambers. He also has experience in recovering damages for illegal decisions of a state administration or court and monetary compensation for non-pecuniary damage resulting from excessive length of proceedings before these institutions. He is familiar with the issues of whistleblowing, having served for almost 2 years as the competent person for the receipt of notifications of misconduct (first under the directly applicable EU directive, later under the Whistleblower Protection Act).
